Stevera exists to give universities a coordinated, trustworthy system for managing athlete financial activity — so compliance, finance, legal, and athletics leadership can operate from one shared, auditable record instead of reconstructing it after the fact.
Why Stevera
The name draws on two ideas: vera, truth and trust, and era, the new era of institutional athletics now that universities sit directly inside the athlete payment flow. Stevera is built to be a steward of that responsibility — a system institutions can trust to document, coordinate, and stand behind.
Why this requires a coordinated system
Institutional revenue sharing put universities directly in the flow of athlete-related payments for the first time. That responsibility touches compliance, finance, legal, athletics, and banking-partner coordination at once — and most institutions are managing it with spreadsheets, email, and disconnected tools that were never built for financial operations at this scale or with this much scrutiny. Stevera exists because that coordination problem needs a real system, not another point solution.
Design-partner philosophy
We are building Stevera OS alongside a small number of institutional collaborators rather than in isolation. A founding design partnership means working directly with athletics, compliance, finance, and legal teams to validate the platform against real institutional priorities before broader availability — not selling a finished product and hoping it fits.
Operating principles

- 02Keep the university as the decision-maker. Stevera coordinates; it does not decide, custody funds, or replace legal and compliance judgment.
